buy and fix up

The chance to buy and renovate a new ministry property at 2000 Claflin Road came quickly! We believe this is a God-ordained opportunity, and we are already seeing person after person encountering Him - and finding true community - in this place.

We closed on the property in May 2021, and spent the first summer opening up a big room for large group meals, classes, campus meetings, and other activities. The next summer we did many more updates and renovations to help make this an amazing environment for indoor and outdoor activities alike. There is a new and wide open kitchen, a great office space, and a refreshed living area where a few of our members are living.

Goals

Our down payment and closing costs were $80,000. Those funds were generously given.

Because people volunteered many hours, we did this work for less than what it would cost otherwise. But it has still been an endeavor of faith - and it has been amazing to see God provide for the purchase and renovation.

FAITH GOAL 1 (by May 28, 2021): $50,000 (reached!)

FAITH GOAL 2 (by August 1, 2021): $75,000 (reached!)

FAITH GOAL 3 (by Summer 2022): $100,000 (reached 7/18/22!)

NEXT PROJECT: $25,000 for expanded parking and basketball court, and updated heating/cooling system

We would also like to pay off the $260,000 mortgage balance as quickly as possible. (Nearly $40,000 has been paid so far.)
